Dear Friends,
Before Nantucket Race Week 2009 is a distant memory, we here at Nantucket Community Sailing wanted to thank you. As the dust settles, we find ourselves reflecting on another very successful Nantucket Race Week and Opera House Cup. We are so proud 
to have such a wonderful group of sponsors, participants and volunteers who come year after year to take part in the various regattas and events that take place during Nantucket Race Week.
Every year we find ourselves looking back and wondering how we can possibly top the past year's Nantucket Race Week. This year, thanks to the inspiration of our NRW title sponsor ReMain Nantucket, we had some exciting improvements as we pushed forward with our goal to be classified by Sailors for the Sea as a Clean Regatta. We believe the efforts made this year are a sound board from which we can continue to launch our green regatta endeavors.
As we work toward improving Nantucket Race Week's green status, we also want to look at the overall picture of the week's events as a whole. Those involved with running Nantucket Race Week are asking for your help.
