IOD Celebrity Invitational

Dates:

August 17 and 18 in Nantucket Sound
Thursday: 8:30am skippers meeting at the Nantucket Yacht Club
10:00am practice starts, followed by racing

Friday: NO skippers meeting
10:00am first warning signal

Description:

Teams may enter by completing the entry form online by clicking the registration link and submitting the entry form, together with the required fee. Participation is limited to 9 teams. The Organizing Authority will confirm which teams will participate. Crews shall consist of five sailors, of whom one is the Celebrity Tactician. The Organizing Authority may, in its sole discretion, accept any late entry. All Skippers shall be members of US Sailing.

Registration includes a skippers bag, five lunches for Thursday and Friday, assignment of a celebrity tactician to your crew, four tickets to the IOD Celebrity Invitational Opening Night Buffet* at a private home on August 16th at 6:30pm, and four tickets to the Casual Dinner at the Great Harbor Yacht Club on August 17th at 6:30pm.

Additional tickets for the Opening Night Buffet may be purchased separately.
Additional tickets for the Thursday night informal casual dinner may be purchased separately.

There will also be an NRW 20th Anniversary Party at the Nantucket Yacht Club on August 19th at 6:30pm. Tickets are not included with your registration but may be purchased separately.

Fees:

Registration Fee: $2,800, of which $2,100 is a tax-deductible charitable contribution to Nantucket Community Sailing, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization

Damage Deposit: $1,000

Awards:

Friday after racing on the Nantucket Yacht Club patio

Results will be posted online.
