Opera House Cup Regatta

North America Panerai Classic Yachts Challenge

Description:       

Entry is open to wooden yachts with hull material of wood or wood-based cold molded with a minimum LOA of 24 feet. Yachts having any composite or carbon hull material are not eligible.

There are two divisions:

  1. Cruising Division (yachts designed and built for the purpose of shorthanded cruising and seaworthy for ocean crossings.)
  2. Day Racing Division (yachts designed and built for the purpose of competition around buoys.)

All registrants must get a 2017 CRF MkII rating, which can be completed online at classicratingformula.com.

Note: The Nantucket Regatta, August 18-19, was restructured in 2016 and is now part of the Panerai Series. Yachts must register separately for the Nantucket Regatta.

Fees:

Registration Fee: $350, of which $150 is a tax-deductible charitable contribution to Nantucket Community Sailing

Additional Late Fee: $100 after August 12, which is a tax-deductible charitable contribution to Nantucket Community Sailing

Awards Party: 

Sunday, August 20 at 6:00pm at Jetties Beach.

The awards ceremony will begin at 7:00pm. The Party is open to OHC Skippers and Guests only.*
