Opera House Cup Regatta

Description:

Entry is open to wooden yachts with hull material of wood or wood-based cold molded with a minimum LOA of 24 feet. Yachts having any composite or carbon hull material may be eligible to compete in the Invitational Division. Spinnakers are not allowed.

There are three divisions:

  1. Cruising Division (yachts designed and built for the purpose of shorthanded cruising and seaworthy for ocean crossings.)
  2. Day Racing Division (yachts designed and built for the purpose of competition around buoys.)
  3. Invitational Division (yachts not meeting the criteria for Cruising or Day Racing Division)

All registrants must have a 2020 CRF MkII rating, which can be completed online at classicratingformula.com.

Fees:

Registration Fee: $100

Additional Late Fee: $25 after August 12, which is a tax-deductible charitable contribution to Nantucket Community Sailing

Awards Party:

Unfortunately there will be no awards party this year. Results will be posted online and winners may pick up their trophies at the Nantucket Community Sailing office at 4 Winter Street on Monday, August 17.
